Getting Started with the KamGard App

KamGard puts powerful jobsite security in your hands. Follow this simple guide to get up and running in minutes.

1 Download the KamGard App

Start by installing the app on your mobile device.

Available on:

2 Create Your Account or Sign In

You'll need an account to access your cameras and alerts.

To create an account:

Open the app and tap Sign Up
Enter your email address or mobile number
Create a password
Agree to the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy
Tap Register

Already registered? Just tap Sign In to access your account.

3 View Live Feed & Receive Alerts

Once connected, you can:

Tap the Live View tab to see your camera stream in real time
Toggle between camera views (if you have more than one)
Pan/Tilt/Zoom – Controls camera position. Camera will return to the preset HOME position after 60 seconds of PTZ inactivity.
NOTE: For the best streaming experience on mobile devices, set the QUALITY to MEDIUM.

Notifications:

You'll receive push alerts when LINE CROSS is detected
Tap the alert to open the app directly to that event
Make sure notifications are enabled in your phone's system settings.

4 View Recordings & Playback

Your KamGard device stores footage for later viewing.

To access:

Go to the Playback tab
Select the camera and date range
Use the timeline scrubber to jump to specific times
Tap snapshots to expand or download
